Application Development Architect – ServiceNow Lead at Hire Resolve

Job Description

• A multinational manufacturer who makes specialty coatings, sealants, and building materials for homes, industries, and construction, is seeking a ServiceNow Lead / Architect who will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Discovery, Service Mapping, reconciliation, and integrations (e.g., SCCM, Intune, SolarWinds) to ensure precise CI population.
• Maintain CMDB health by monitoring data quality, resolving discrepancies, and managing data certification to fix root-cause gaps.
• Champion hardware and software lifecycle management (ITAM).
• Lead, mentor, and perform talent development for a team of asset technicians.
• Partner with ITSM, ITOM, and engineering teams to align CMDB data with IT processes and change management impacts.
• Facilitate governance forums and technical workshops to improve CMDB adoption and maturity.
• Design dashboards and reports tracking CMDB compliance, health metrics, and operational impact.
• Stay aligned with new ServiceNow releases and implement best practices to drive automation and efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: 12+ years managing ServiceNow CMDB, ITAM, and infrastructure architecture in large-scale environments.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, CSDM, and cross-platform monitoring/management integrations.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Certifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CMDB or Discovery)
• ITIL v4 Foundations
• Soft Skills: Demonstrated cross-functional leadership, strong troubleshooting, analytical decision-making, and executive-level communication skills.
