Area Manager - Insurance Brokers (UNIGRO) at AFGRI Equipment

Description

• Managing regional staff compliment, reaching relevant targets as determined by regional budgets and managing relationships with key clients.

Requirements

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING   

• Grade 12  
• FAIS Accredited (Level RE5)
• Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) recognised qualification

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE   

• 5 years experience in the short-term insurance industry
• 5 years experience at management level is essential
• High Level of knowledge of the South African insurance environment 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS      

• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Perform underwriting and administrative services to new and existing clients  
• Manage employee key performance areas, identify training and development requirements, and ensure fair disciplinary action to address deviations.  
• Prepare the required weekly, monthly or quarterly reports
• Perform cross-selling within UNIGRO  
• Manage the region's budget
