Artisan Assistant (Semi-Skilled Electrician) at Novus Holdings Ltd

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Peform basic electrical repairs, lighting etc.
• Provide assistance to artisans
• Adhering to all health and safety requirements related to observing equipment and machinery to verify efficient and safe operation
• Carry out repairs on electrical equipment in the electrical workshop
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the electrical workshop

Educational Requirements    

• Grade 12
• N3 - N4 Technical Certificate

Experience Requirements    

• Extensive experience in the use of hand and power tools is essential
• Experience in a similar role
• 1-2 years’ experience in FMCG environment

• Have a flair for applying practical engineering methods
• Adaptable to working in a high speed and high stress environment
• Have the ability to solve technical problems
• Reliable and fit into a team environment
• Time conscious
• Computer literate
