An NQF level 6 qualification in Human Resource Management / Industrial and Organisational Psychology / Labour Relations / Law as recognized by SAQA.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resource management with a specific emphasis on a labour relations work environment at a supervisory level; Knowledge of Labour Relations legislative frameworks, methodologies and strategies in the Public Service;
Knowledge and understanding of the Public Service statutory frameworks: Financial Management and regulatory framework/guidelines, the Public Service Act, the Public Service Regulations, Treasury Regulations, Departmental Financial Instructions, the Public Finance Management Act, Government initiatives and decisions, etc.
DUTIES : Key Performance Areas:
Facilitate the implementation of collective bargaining proceedings;
Facilitate the implementation of dispute resolution processes and procedures;
Facilitate disciplinary and grievance processes and procedures;
Coordinate and facilitate capacity building and advocacy relating to Labour Relations matters;
Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder relations; Manage human, finance and other resources.
