Grade 12 Certificate plus 3 years National Diploma (NQF level 6 as recognized by SAQA) in Transport Management with relevant experience in the related field,of which 3 years’ experience shouldbe atAdministrative officer level. A valid driver’s license. No criminal record and willingness to undergo the process of security clearance.
Responsibilities:
Manage the administration of applications for operating licensing. Provide administrative support to the PRE Adjudication Committee/panel. Facilitate call-ins to operators for Adjudication committee hearings.
Implement the decisions made by the Adjudication Committee. Consolidate the stats of all applications adjudicated by the committee and uplifted. Manage Helpdesk services. Manage conflict from the help desk concerning the operators.
Prepare concurrence letter to municipalities for application for Taxis (Since the ranks belong to municipalities). Liaise with public transport structures, commuters and government institutions (Attend transport and commuter forums.) Manage human resources, finances, and assets.
