An NQF 6 qualification in Policy Development and Analysis / Public Administration/Management / Public Management and Governance / Local Government Management / Local Government and Administration / Public Policy / Leadership and Development or equivalent as recognized by SAQA. A postgraduate qualification in the mentioned qualifications will be an added advantage. Three (3) years’ experience in the Policy Development, Analysis and Coordination field at Supervisory level. Experience in research, policy development, policy analysis and stakeholder engagement. Valid driver’s license (with exception of persons with disability).
DUTIES :
Coordinate, facilitate and manage the development, review and analysis of departmental policies. Provide administrative and advisory role to departmental units. Provide support on policy development to departmental units. Coordinate submissions and presentations of finalised policies to management for endorsement. Manage and facilitate resources (financial, human and physical) in accordance with relevant directives and legislation.
