A relevant NQF level 6 in Risk Management or equivalent as recognized by SAQA.
Five (5) years’ experience of which three (3) years must be at Lower Management post /Supervisory level 7/8 within related field. Valid driver’s license (with exception of people with disability).
DUTIES :
Develop, implement, and monitor the organization’s risk management policies and strategies in accordance with the Public Sector Risk Management Framework as prescribed by the National Treasury. Facilitate risk assessments and maintain a comprehensive risk register, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and prioritized appropriately.
Coordinate the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans and regularly report on progress to senior management and relevant oversight bodies.
Provide risk management training and awareness programmes to staff to promote a culture of proactive risk management within the organisation. Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements related to risk management in the public sector.
Prepare and present risk management reports, including emerging risks and trends, for the risk committee and other stakeholders as required.
