Assistant Director: Supply Chain and Asset Management at Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development

REQUIREMENTS :

• Grade 12 plus an appropriate qualification NQF 6 level in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing Management, Procurement, Logistics or Financial Management or equivalent qualification as recognized by SAQA. Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience in Supply Chain Management at supervisory level. A valid driver’s licence (with exception of persons with disabilities).
• Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: Sound and in-depth knowledge of relevant prescripts and applications of Supply Chain and Asset Management as well as understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service i.e.. Public Finance Management Act, Public Service Act, PPPFA, Treasury Regulations, etc. Program and Project Management Skills, Financial Management Skills, Communication Skills, Policy Analysing skill and Report writing skills 

DUTIES :

• Provide demand management services. Manage acquisition and purchasing services. Manage asset management services. Manage transport services. Render stores and warehousing services. Supervise subordinates and utilise resources (Human and Physical) in accordance with relevant directives and legislations.
