Assistant Fire Fighters X8 at Hessequa Municipality

Requirements:

• Grade 10 (Must be able to read and write) 
• Must be 18 years or older 
• Willing to complete practical  and  theoretical  firefighting  training  
• Be  stationed  at  any  Fire  Station  within  the  Hessequa Municipal Area 
• Work overtime and on short notice 
• No criminal record.
• Two years’ experience in a similar position, will serve as recommendation.  

Duties:  

• Perform  fire-fighting  operations  
• Respond  to  fires  
• Check  and  maintain  equipment  
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained 
• Assist with clearing fire breaks.
