Matric certificate plus a Degree in Political Sciences/Law/Public Policy or equivalent relevant qualification at National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 7 as recognised by South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
A postgraduate qualification in Political Sciences/Law/Public Policy or equivalent relevant qualification will be an added advantage at NQF level 8
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in research environment
Working knowledge of data collection, analyses, findings reporting and dissemination thereof.
Knowledge of Acts, Regulations, Policies and Procedures governing the public sector
Basic knowledge of office administration and interaction with clients and stakeholders.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Render necessary internal research support by means of well researched insights or inputs into reports, research papers, policy documents or papers.
Conduct environmental scan analysis.
Ensure the dissemination of research findings and recommendations
Conduct and contribute towards comprehensive literature reviews
Draft data collection instruments or questionnaires.
Render necessary support on the Regulator’s policy initiatives.
Provide logistical and research administrative support services within the subdivision.
