Associate Lecturer English Home Language Literacy Foundation Phase Primary School Education (4731)

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Facilitate learning, teaching, and assessment at undergraduate level.
- Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed academic journals / academic platforms.
- Participate in academic and community engagements.
- Contribute to Faculty administration as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least an Honours degree in Education or English. A Masters in Education or English will be an added advantage.
- An undergraduate qualification in Foundation Phase Education
- At least two-years’ experience in teaching Foundation Phase English Home Language Literacy and or English Additional Language in the school context.
- Experience in teaching in a Higher Education context.
- Sound disciplinary and content knowledge of English Home Language Literacy and English Additional Language.
- Sound knowledge of various techniques for teaching English Home Language Literacy and English Additional Language
