Au Pair | Lynnwood | R10 500+ Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Lynnwood, PTA
• Children's Ages: Boy – Grade 2 and Girl – Grade 5
• Child's Neurodivergence Snapshot: Both children are bright, high-achieving learners with professionally managed ADHD/ADD, OCD and anxiety. They thrive with a calm, patient and neurodiversity-affirming approach.
• Support Style: Support emotional regulation through a gentle, encouraging approach while building confidence, healthy routines and excellent study habits. A candidate who enjoys understanding each child's individual needs and strengths will be the best fit.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday 13:00 - 18:00
• School Holiday Hours: Same or similar hours (additional hours may be required and will be paid extra).
• Duties: Collect from school, transport to extra murals, assist with homework, exam preparation and study summaries, prepare school lunches and dinner, plan engaging afternoon/holiday activities, assist with light child-related errands and provide a daily handover to parents, fun and encouraging of fantasy play/believing in magic, create schedules and stick to routine, buy supplies needed for projects and school things in advance, keep on top of the children’s schedules
• Special Requirements: Afrikaans speaking, non-smoker/vaper, First Aid certified. Must be warm, emotionally mature, confident, proactive, comfortable around dogs, and ideally have experience working with neurodivergent children. Strong academics are highly advantageous, someone who is able to manage their time effectively
• Start Date and contract term: ASAP – permanent
• Salary: R10 500 - R14 000 per month (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (The family is looking for someone truly exceptional and is happy to offer a higher, market-related salary for a candidate with proven strong academic ability and/or experience supporting neurodivergent children)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
