Audit Data Quality Administrator at BDO South Africa

Description

• The role exists to strengthen the ongoing focus on Audit Quality at BDO.
• The incumbent will align Audit data with the IRBA and Global required standards. This entails looking and current data, identifying gaps and ensuring that the gaps and potential risks are closed as per the requirements.

Main duties and responsibilties

•   Analyse current data and identify gaps.
•   Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to retrieve missing data, files or documents.
•   Follow/enforce database security measures to protect sensitive data.
•   Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to identify the best data storage

requirements

•   Monitor and report on project progress and address potential issues
•   Ensure the quality assurance of all databases and alignment to the IRBA and Global data quality standards.
• Deliver on time & on a budget (always).

Requirements

• Qualifications/Recognition of Prior Learning equivalent
• Minimum B.com Accounting, Risk, or any other relevant qualification

Work Experience

• 3 years of experience working with Data Quality Administration, with a focus on improving data quality.
• Experience in the Audit Industry

Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of database design, administration, and optimization techniques an advantage.
