Stefanutti Stocks Inland Region requires an Auto Electrician in Kempton Park Area. The position requires shift work and overtime from time to time. Applicants must be able to pass Red Ticket Medical.
Fault finding, maintenance and repairs and servicing on electrical and air conditioning of all plant equipment. Must understand hydraulics and electronics to do fault finding. Must be able to interpret parts and workshop manuals, schematics etc. Solid knowledge and understanding of risk assessments, JSA’s, HIRA’s and all other safety requirements. Investigate and or Diagnose and perform trade related electrical maintenance and repairs of equipment and machinery according to OEM standard. Attend to electrical defects raised in pre-start checklists, breakdown sheets and inspection reports such as lights, indicators and warning signs. Ability to diagnose electrical malfunction in TMM electrical systems including alternators, starters, wiring, safety and control systems. Ability to install electrical systems. Analytical skills and attention to detail. Complex electrical problem-solving skills.
Requirements
Grade 12 or N2 Technical Equivalent qualification. Qualified Auto Electrician on Heavy Earthmoving Equipment. Extensive experience of Hitachi, Caterpillar, Bell, Komatsu, Volvo, Mercedes Benz, and various ancillary equipment an advantage. At least 10 years post trade test experience an advantage. Must be medically fit.
