Automotive Financial Manager at SydSen Recruit

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly management accounts (P&L by department, Balance Sheet, cash flow, KPIs, variance analysis) within T+7.
• Maintain full Trial Balance integrity, ensuring all subledgers are reconciled (Debtors, Creditors, VSB, Parts, WIP, VAT, payroll, bank, intercompany).
• Manage floorplan facilities, daily cash positioning, and banking relationships.
• Ensure VAT accuracy, SARS compliance, and support annual audit/reviews.
• Provide commercial finance insights (margins, stock turns, discounts, OEM incentives).
• Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team; drive Autoline discipline and process improvements.

Requirements

• BCom Accounting/Finance degree (Honours/CIMA/CA(SA) advantageous).
• 5–8+ years’ finance experience in multi-branch dealerships with strong knowledge of floorplan and stock finance.
• Proven expertise in Keyloop Autoline (VSB, Parts, SL, PL, GL, RPG).
• Track record delivering accurate month-end packs to tight deadlines.
• Experience with Haval, GWM, Chery, Peugeot, Citroën, Opel and used car sales preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching ability, and systems discipline.
