The Boys’ College invites suitably qualified, experienced, and passionate individuals for the above-mentioned full-time position which will be available from May 2023. 

Requirements

Key competencies and responsibilities of this role include:

• A suitable professional qualification and appropriate educational experience
• Academic experience in teaching and marking at Matric level would be an advantage
• An excellent all-round knowledge and passion for the subject
• Experience in developing learning and teaching material and assessment practices according to the requirements and the needs of the learners
• A passion for teaching young men who seek to become significant in a modern world
• Willingness to embrace rapid changes in education, and an interest and ability to integrate IT and technology into your teaching and learning
• An unequivocal commitment to working as part of an accomplished team and an ability to take initiative and to act decisively
• Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the College
• A commitment to on-going personal and professional development
• A willingness to work within the values, Christian ethos, and mission of the College as well as to participate in the broader life of the school
• Proof of registration with SACE supported by a sexual offender’s clearance certificate
