    Business Development Manager, Payment Solutions and Hardware for Fintech in South Africa (location Cape Town or Johannesburg)
    Tactile Technologies is an acknowledged expert in touch screen-, auto-id (barcoding)- and payment technology. We have been in business for 20 years now and if you live in South Africa you will have no doubt either seen or even used our products. Think fuel station, airports, hospitality, casinos, banking etc. We import and distribute a number of brands into Southern Africa.     The Business Development Manager, Payment Solutions and Hardware for Fintech in South Africa shall understand the market, identify the opportunities, and define the appropriate solution- and hardware offering and go-to-market strategy. The scope of customer solutions covers the entire Tactile Technologies payment range with a strong focus on the SUNMI range of payment terminals. The role requires working closely with supplier- and customer teams to deliver winning solutions.

    Key Performance Areas 

    • a full understanding of market ecosystem, trends and requirements
    • analyze and provide feedback on market trends, recommended partnerships and opportunities
    • responsible to maintain and grow existing accounts
    • responsible to identify and develop new business
    • responsible to represent the business through various engagement strategies
    • build and sustain great customer service levels and business relationships in support of business objectives
    • responsible to support marketing in creating all relevant campaigns.

    Requirements

    • minimum of 5 years highly relevant sales experience in SA payment industry
    • experienced in prospecting via cold calling and networking
    • must be able to hunt for new prospective customers
    • target driven, must have the ability to set monthly sales and new client targets.
    • excellent verbal and written communication
    • able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • update leads and deals regularly on an internal sales system.

    • must have a positive attitude
    • creative thinker
    • must be able to work independently
    • must be a team player
    • must, at all times, have a customer satisfaction orientated approach.

    In addition to the normal duties expected of you in the capacity of Business Development Manager, you will be expected to carry out any other reasonable instruction within your ability, and which can reasonably be expected from you in your role as the Business Development Manager for Tactile Technologies.
