BI & Data Lead at Core Group

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business intelligence analysts.
• Develop and implement business intelligence strategies and solutions in collaboration with the team.
• Design and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards to meet organizational reporting needs.
• Oversee end-to-end BI projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and maintenance.
• Manage the creation and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring efficient and accurate data flow.
• Use SQL to extract and manage data warehouses for reporting needs.
• Oversee the integration of data from various sources into a cohesive and accessible data warehouse.
• Work with data engineers to implement and maintain data warehouses and pipelines. Proficiency in using DBT beneficial.
• Ensure the security, accuracy, and reliability of BI solutions.
• SQL query optimisation 
• Master data management.
• Manage external vendors related to data projects and engineering.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data visualization.
• Effectively interact across different business functions and manage stakeholders from various teams.
• Foster collaboration and communication between the business intelligence team and other departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, informatics or other similar
• Proven 5 years experience as a Business Intelligence Manager or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI or another reporting visualization tool.
• Extensive experience working with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Azure stack, including Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database.
• Experience managing and leading a BI or data analytics team.
• Experience in creating and managing data pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
