This busy and dynamic company is looking for a bookkeeper who can do the full bookkeeping function on Pastel to month end, including VAT l, as well as manage the office and work closely with the directors who are all different and busy and value your input. The successful applicant needs to be a balance sheet bookkeeper who is organised, experienced with implementing systems, prioritising work and an excellent communicator.
Educational Requirements:
Completed grade 12 essential
A finance related certificate or Diploma would be preferred
4+ years in a similar role (Admin and Finance)
Bookkeeping experience essential
Valid driver's license and own vehicle
Duties & Responsibilities:
Managing and maintaining general administration including filing
Screening phone calls, enquiries, and requests and handling them when appropriate and delegating where necessary
Minute taking and implementation of tasks discussed in meetings
Producing all documents and reports required for monthly review and recon by management
Liaising with clients, suppliers and Agents
Product ordering from suppliers and stock management.
Liaising with courier companies to ensure orders are received at relevant DCs and customers.
Bookkeeping on Pastel including but not limited to capturing customers, stock, invoicing, debit orders, etc.
Creating and maintaining sales target and KPI spreadsheets for the sales department to be revised weekly and monthly for management
Managing and drafting all letters and documents to be signed off by management for clients and suppliers
Managing and overseeing office and staff
