    Bosch Management Services – Systems Administrator ERP

    Bosch Management Services, a member of the multi-disciplinary Bosch Holdings group of companies, founded in 1961 has a job opportunity for a system administrator.  This position is based in Mount Edgecombe, Durban and will report to the Group Financial Controller.

    KEY  RESPONSIBILITES :

    • Managing day-to-day system administration and security for the Unit4 Business World ERP software, including routine monthly processes. (maintains user roles and oversees system processes)
    • Work with the system designers, users and management to determine appropriate system configuration and setup.
    • Implementing changes on the system (with or without 3rd party assistance.)
    • Testing changes made on the system.
    • Creating documentation and procedure guidelines for users.
    • Helpdesk function for users within the group.
    • Logging and resolving calls with the Unit4 Business World support desk.
    • System implementation for new entities/countries of the system.
    • Setting up of new projects and codes required by the business.
    • User training for existing and new users, this includes updating documentation and procedures guidelines for the users.
    • Thoroughly understand business practices and procedures to design, develop and maintain automated workflow processes.
    • Design, develop and maintain reports.
    • Managing data integrity and maintaining relevant database system.
    • Writing, testing and maintaining of enquiries and reports available to users on the Unit4 Business World system.
    • Monthly & Annual roll-over and maintenance of exchange rates and standard data
    • System Administration & Maintenance of key bespoke Microsoft databases on Sharepoint for the group.
    • Further development of the bespoke Microsoft Databases
    • Security and Access control administration for MS Sharepoint for the group.
    • Collaborate with the Engineering teams on Sharepoint integration with design software

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:

    • Have a relevant IT qualification.
    • Have working experience in accounting / finance.
    • Have previous system administration experience.
    • Have the ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
    • Have SQL knowledge, MS Sharepoint knowledge, Design software knowledge (added advantage)
    • Have advanced excel skills.
    • Have strong problem solving, organization, planning and good communication skills.
    • Be deadline driven and have the ability to streamline processes.
