    Branch Manager

    To maximize profit by achieving the expected standards on sales and income customer service through daily management of retail staff productivity within the branch

    Requirements

    • Matric
    • Retail Management / Business Diploma advantageous
    • A minimum of 4 years retail experience in a well established brand
    • A minimum of 5 years Management/Supervisory experience
    • Experience managing at least 10 -15 staff reports
    • Experience working in a branch with at least R40 – 60m turnover per annum
    • Proven track record of driving sales
    • Stock and shrinkage management
    • Knowledge of Merchandising principles and Space Optimization
    • Planning and implementation of promotional activities – store based
    • Industrial Relations and Employee Relations experience
    • Relevant Operation, Administration and Financial Management
    • Computer Literacy in MS Office and Intermediate Excel

    • Ensure profitability by achieving the expected standards on sales and income through the daily management of retail staff productivity within the branch
    • Management, control and optimization of stock to drive sales
    • Optimize service processes within the branch to enable staff to provide excellent customer service
    • Continuously meet all service evaluation criteria
    • Ensure optimum trade operating profit is achieved by effectively controlling and managing store expenses
    • Recruit develop and manage direct reports
    • Bi-annual assessments of staff performance and individual development programs
