    Brand Manager - Creative PR, Activations & Social Media (Hyundai Head Office)

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    Collaborate with the brand custodians in the team, to drive imaginative, creative execution of PR angles emanating from the variety of adverts, promotions and activations that feature on our busy activity calendar.

    • Take the lead in leveraging the existing sponsorship commitments and create angles that drive maximum leverage and brand love.
    • Assist in creating model showcasing opportunities for our extensive model portfolio working with relevant content creators per model and creating unique model stories in addition to creatively highlighting the exciting modern technology and consumer centric features in our model line-up.
    • Be the lead in the Hyundai community management efforts, often looking for opportunities to surprise and delight Hyundai owners, in addition to jumping on relevant social media chatter as it relates to each model’s positioning.
    • Utilize social media listening tools to consistently measure and gain insight into the sentiment on the Hyundai brand as well as that of competitors. Be adept at setting engagement KPI’s for the various brand initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the brand custodians on the different model launches as they happen in order to maximize awareness and excitement for the models.
    • Work closely with our agency partners and the influencer friends of Hyundai, in crafting impactful activity and consumer connection and engagement.
    • Possess a profound love and curiosity for the various modern digital platforms.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum 3 - 7 years in a classical brand marketing or advertising environment
    • Degree in marketing or equivalent business degree.

    Skills and Personal Attributes

    A self-starting, positive individual who believes in the impact of great creativity, a genuine love for co-creation and collaboration, as well as deeply held belief in searching for and finding unique creative angles and solutions.

    • Proven strengths in working in a number of varying disciplines in a brand marketing environment preferably on a global brand(s) in a brand marketing or an ad agency environment.
    • A demonstrable history and experience in the briefing, development and execution of brand campaigns and events from start to finish. (Preferably learnt in the rigour of the FMCG environment)
    • Strong relationship building, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
    • A strong planning ability, discipline, superior project management skills , and a knack for meeting tight deadlines.
    • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and collaborative environment
    • Basic financial acumen, Budget-management skills and proficiency
    • Agency management and negotiation skills.
    • Computer literacy
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills
    • Assertiveness, persuasiveness and a solution-oriented attitude, in a pressured environment
