Our client – a manufacturer of some of the most Iconic brands in the world is recruiting for a Brand Manager. Entrepreneurs are welcomed in this company - you “own” the brand - the company is energetic, flexible, creative and have a real passion for action and achievement. The role is based in DURBAN.

A commercial understanding of business coupled with strong financial and analytical skills is fundamental to be successful. You as the brand owner will be responsible for all aspects of the brands' performance.

In order to be successful this role you need the following key experiences:

• In-depth understanding of competitor’s strength and weaknesses
• Brand Strategy development and corrective measures - full brand cycle
• Must have a strong theoretical and executional understanding of marketing processes (Strategy, NPD, Consumer Insights, media and advertising)
• Profit and Loss (full accountability)

Minimum experience and qualifications:

• Degree
• At least 2 years on a Brand Manager level within a FMCG company focussing on Cosmetics or Personal Care Products
• Management of a portfolio of brands
• Innovation and new product development experience
• Budget management
