    Brand Representative - Western Cape - Cape Town Central

    Job Overview

    The purpose of this role is to present and demonstrate product to school learners to create awareness around feminism and what young girls must go through during life cycle change

    This person will be responsible for, but not limited to travel and visit schools (formal and/or informal areas) as prescribed by the business.

    Important to note that the Brand Representative might be requested to make bookings for themselves or others in the event of down time (school holidays and / or exam times).

    It is important that this person is flexible and able to execute all objectives against the requirements.

    • Must have own reliable vehicle
    • Current roadworthy certificate
    • Valid driver’s license
    • R7500 Basic (CTC)
    • R1000 - Airtime & Data allowance
    • R3000 - Car Allowance
    • R4500 - Fleet Card Allowance
    • 6 Months Contract

    Key Performance Areas

    Relationships:

    • Establish and maintain a professional relationship with all stakeholders (internal & external).
    • Ability to engage with the audience on relevtant client products.
    • Ability to speak and engage with different target audiences and think on their feet to ensure that relevant questions can be answered where and when applicable.
    • Build a trust relationship by coming across as approachable to learners and school representatives.

    Operational Excellence:
     

    • Ensure KPI’s are met daily, weekly, monthly.
    • Respond to all queries and requests timeously.
    • Suggest actions to exceed the client expectations and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Accountable for the Success and Execution against the set KPI’s.
    • In-directly responsible for all audiences to create an exceptional product experience by demonstrating product knowledge, assessing learner’s needs by actively listening and providing solutions to maximize learner interaction, satisfaction and brand loyalty.
    • Confidently display passion with regards to what is being presented and/or demonstrated.
    • Manage time effectively and ensure that all appointments are kept to and that external and internal stakeholder’s expectations are managed at all times, no exceptions.
    • Management of the sampling stock is of utmost importance, seeing that this carries value and must be kept safe and clean at all times.

    Reporting:

    • Ensure all concerns and/or developments are timeously brought to the attention of your Line Manager.
    • Constantly report back on the prescribed operating system (online capturing system). Capture feedback immediately after / between each session, before checking out.
    • You will be required to report back on the samples handed out at each session and this will be reconciled against the number of learners that you have presented to. Any loss or damaged samples will have to be replaced at the cost of the employee.
    • Assets of a high value will be issued to the Brand Representative and must be taken care of and kept in a good condition at all times. Any loss or damage to the assets provided will have to be replaced at the cost of the employee.

    Processes:

    • Ensure compliance against all internal and external processes, policies and procedures are adhered to.

    Development:

    • Demonstrate productivity and self-improvement (online training tools and learning portal).

    Previous Work Experience
     

    • Required for Competence:
    • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a sales / training role
    • Experience in working in a high pressure, fast paced environment
    • Evidence of experience working independently, with little or no supervision
    • Demonstrate the ability to deliver excellent presentation experience and have an ever lasting impact
    • Display a professional and ethical behaviour
    • Reporting through business online reporting tools
