BU Ownership and active management of T1 and T2 Transport processes and activities in the most efficient and cost-effective manner
Manage distribution and deployment strategies and conducts transport and resource simulations to ensure cost effective resourcing plans
Cross-functional action plans, mitigations in the VLC Package
High level Reporting and presentations to directors and VP’s of VLC, including Root-Cause Analysis
Strong relationship with other functions within the BU, Africa zone and global teams to ensure best practices are adopted by all countries in the BU
VLC budget formulation and productivity management with monthly tracking and monitoring, providing guidance to countries aligned with global expectation
Monthly LE Accuracy tracking and management.
Develop and review annual Zone transport Capex guidelines according to Zone and Global strategic priorities
Coach and implement best practices in T1 & T2 Transport management
Identification and implementation of Value-Add (VA) initiatives/opportunities
Own the Champions plans, track and monitor execution to the plans.
Manage, monitor and coach across all excellence programs in the BU.
Owner of Blocks, toolkits and GOPS in LCP, DPO & VPO
BU owner for NPS and Service Level
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors or post-graduate degree qualification in a relevant field: B.Sc. Degree in Engineering or Econometrics, Finance or Bachelor of Commerce in Supply Chain, Economics, Accounting Science, MBA recommended.
4 Years experience in logistics and supply chain management and finance background
