Business Analyst / Configuration Analyst at Datacentrix

• As a Configuration Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality training that supports the adoption and utilization of new practices within the organization. Your work will focus on configuring business processes, providing functional support, and driving the business analysis initiatives from inception through to successful implementation.

Skills & Experience Required

• Education: Minimum of an Honours degree (NQF 8) in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 5–8 years of experience in a business analysis environment, specifically in SubTech/regulatory technology (RegTech) or project management.
• Proven track record in software development and system configuration.

• Ability to manage and analyze complex business processes and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide accurate and reliable data and information in support of strategic decisions
• Provide functional support to the PA's SupTech users with specific focus on testing, business analysis, configuration and system setup
• Take responsibility for driving SupTech business analysis initiatives from initiation to implementation on projects of a low to medium risk with a cycle of up to 18 months
• Facilitate workshops 
• Consult with business owners and stakeholders in respect of problem definition and the identification of business requirements or needs
• Review business processes and procedures, analyse business needs and associated data, identify and assess possible solutions, and define the associated business requirements
• Elaborate on the scope and feasibility of solutions and develop the supporting business case
• Manage change requirements and supporting specifications, provide the functional specification and manage acceptance testing
• Investigate problems and propose solutions by interacting with users, developers and other stakeholders
• Configure complex business processes and tasks (where appropriate) within a system for improvement
• Identify and register risks within SupTech
• Provide input into the development of SupTech training manuals and traiing plans, and present training courses in support of new implementation
• Stay abreast of changes to SupTech tools and methodologies and advise the PA on how to adhere to new practices
