Business Development Executive at Status Staffing

• Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Executive to join their team in Green Point, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will hold a BCom or other completed university degree, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development within the financial services industry, specifically focusing on investments. A CFP designation and RE5 qualification are essential. Strong communication, client engagement, organisational, and computer skills are required, together with a professional, energetic, and customer-focused approach.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BCom or another completed university degree.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Business Development Executive within the financial services industry, with a focus on investments.
• Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
• RE5 qualification.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with clients.
• Good organisational skills.
• Energetic, positive, and friendly attitude.
• Professional and presentable appearance.

DUTIES:

• Develop and maintain strong, professional working relationships with financial advisors.
• Follow up on advisor requests and queries in a timely manner, ensuring that agreed service standards are consistently met.
• Present and communicate the benefits and value of the organization’s investment and financial services offering to advisors.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently maintained.
• Keep up to date with competitor products, market developments, and service offerings.
