Business Development Intern at Danfoss

Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a Business Development Intern to be based at its Johannesburg office. The internship program will focus on Danfoss Drives' Business Development activities in South Africa.

The successful candidate will be onboarded in Danfoss to gain multinational exposure, and will have access to work-sponsor mentors to coach and guide them throughout the process. During this engagement, they will learn how to utilize market intelligent tools, gain technical knowledge about Variable Frequency drive, and participate in major events across the region.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Pipeline review and stakeholder mapping
• End-user and consultant approval
• Provide support for strategic projects
• Support Sales and Marketing team in organizing relevant events, exhibitions, and technical seminars

• University students taking up a master's degree, preferably in engineering or business-related majors.
• Fluent in English.
• Can work independently with minimum supervision.
• Has strong and effective communication skills.
• Highly focused and capable of sustaining a fast pace in a dynamic environment.
• A great team player - embraces collaboration and takes ownership of their role.
• Has business acumen and technical knowledge within the area/s of responsibility.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
