You will be required to build and maintain client relationships, assess client-specific needs, promote and sell logistic services, and maintain sales goals and objectives. Manage agreed distribution commercial contractors. Manage assigned distribution partners in line with the agreed SLA and commercial framework. Establish appropriate relationships and communication with the relevant functional area both internal and external to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure customer retention
Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Matric
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Marketing Management (advantageous)
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience within the Transport Industry
Have a thorough understanding of Logistics practices
Have a good understanding of import and export procedures
Must have a national and regional understanding of road networks
Confidently able to present the Company’s products and services in a professional manner
Have good client relationship management, communication and presentation skills
Work well under pressure, adhere to deadlines and be a self-starter
Able to work independently and be a team player simultaneously
Must take ownership of the position, be dedicated and innovative
Have the willingness to acquire new skills and gain knowledge
Possess strong analytical skills coupled with strong networking abilities
