    Business Owner - Trading

    The role

    • To drive the definition and execution of a strategy for the Business Owners particular business segment.

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Contribution towards product roadmap as one of the mechanisms to execute on this strategy.
    • Define and achieve budgeted financial results as well as commercial oversight of business area.
    • Identify new business opportunities through strategic engagement with key client stakeholders and client crowdsourcing.
    • Responsible for driving opportunities through the defined local and global Bid Engagement forums where relevant.
    • Responsible for defining commercials on products within specific business area post consultation with relevant stakeholders. Including responsibility for signing off proposals and associated process.
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders (Product, Account Management etc.) to ensure focus on and progress against our Must Win Battles of quality and ease.
    • Maintain relations with Sales, Account Management and Service Desk to ensure clients are being serviced inline with Iress standards.
    • Regular engagement with Marketing to drive the exposure of Iress and products relevant to their business area, both internally and externally.
    • Key part of pre-sales phase and stakeholder to solution definition prior to commercials being defined.
    • Ensure coordination of all teams responsible for the running of the specific business area, in line with Iress ways of working and delivery framework.
    • Build business efficiencies within the business segment by ensuring the scalability of products and processes.
    • Co-develop product collateral with the relevant stakeholders.
    • Ensure regional alignment with global teams, products, and processes.
    • Collaborate with Client Solutions on initiatives and be the gateway into Client Solutions.
    • Understand the operational profile of products and have in-depth product knowledge.
    • Co-develop and execute on the defined strategy with a focus on both growth and retention.
    • Operationally ensure that billing and commercials are aligned with Finance processes.
    • Execute, own and deliver on segment-specific projects with all relevant stakeholders.

    What You Will Need
