    Business Unit Manager-Microsoft

    Position Role:

    Datacentrix is looking for a Business Unit Manager-Microsoft  to enhance the strategic position of the company in the Partner channel ecosystem as well as with Cloud vendors. This role will entail managing and supporting the company Cloud Hub team members to drive Cloud transformation in the historic Volume Licensing partner space. In addition the person will be responsible for the attainment of vendor targets across all applicable segments.

     

    Primary Role Accountabilities:

    • Share your broad technical knowledge of Cloud platforms and the industry with partners by sharing customer and general IT landscape insights with the company channel partners as well as your colleagues including Executive and the Digital team
    • Successful candidate must have effective communication skills as well as the ability to facilitate and influence ideas clearly and concisely
    • Demonstrate an excellence at presenting complex development topics to both executive and technical personnel
    • Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
    •  Articulates technology, solutions and services in a compelling way to all audiences
    • Expertly tailors messaging to specific audiences
    • Implements metrics to drive continuous improvements; drives the overall return on investment (ROI).
    •  Ability to lead the adoption of Cloud technologies to influence the industry-wide direction of specific technologies and services to help organizations drive digital transformation
    • Strong decision-making skills: takes proactive steps to generate results, uses data and other inputs to make decisions, owns decision, and takes accountability for work using strong organizational and analytical skills
    •  Providing customer guidance during product and services sales cycle
    • Proven ability to solve challenging problems and deliver timely and high-quality design solutions when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands, and technical risks
    •  Consistently practices strong organizational, communication, project management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
    • Work closely with key vendor stakeholders as well as team members to continuously show solid progress in being able to address the planning cycle and required execution excellence of marketing investments to ensure transformational growth in the ecosystem
    • Over time this role may extend across more than one vendor and the successful candidate should be comfortable in an environment with fair ambiguity, ready to work on multiple projects


    Critical Requirements - Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of technology sales and customer relationship management
    •  Experience in Consultative Selling is recommended
    • Cloud technology (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) experience is required
    • Extensive experience in working within highly matrixed, geographically dispersed teams is required
    •  Experience in Telco space is preferred
    • Prefers a certification in sales, sales management, complex sales training, sales methodologies, broad evangelism through events (presentation skills), consultative selling
    • Additional training or education in Business, Sales or Marketing is preferable
    • Prefers certification in Microsoft or relevant cloud, data center or mobility technologies – including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure and Dynamics365 and Microsoft’s overall cloud and security strategies
