    Category Business Analyst

    Job Summary:

    Key Objectives

    • Manage Strategic Sales Planning
    • Analyse internal and external market, customer and card loyalty data
    • Develop and Track Commercial Priorities tools (Distribution, Promotion Efficiency and Pricing Trackers)
    • Engage with key internal and external contacts for gathering of relevant information
    • Develop in-market sales forecasting learnings by customer to integrate into the GPS
    • Demand Planning cycle
    • Devise reporting around key drivers (Field Sales, Key Accounts, Exports) and drive actions to execution
    • Coordinate and share in-market sales and business performance reports
    • Check and distribute relevant business performance reports to the business with key insights
    • Present key business performance metrics and learnings to the exco and extended leadership team monthly / quarterly
    • Provide support to Field sales team by educating them on commercial tracking tools and key actions
    • In-market NPD management of performance (across categories)
    • Plan and forecast for the launch of new products (volume, benchmarking, pricing)
    • Conduct post analysis of new product performance
    • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly tracking on new brands
    • Coordinate the Pricing learning's to the PRGM Manager (across categories)
    • Prepare regular price & promotional review and analysis reports to determine the market situation and competitiveness against the main competitors in the market.
    • Leads Customer and Regional Joint Business Planning
    • Develops Customer and regional plans (extract information, provide to stakeholders and co-create solutions)
    • Leads the joint planning process alongside the key account manager, head of key accounts and head of field sales.

    Key Requirements Of The Job

    • Qualification(s) Bachelor's degree
       

    Experience And Skills

    • 5 Years' experience in and FMCG environment
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, Nielsen Answers;
    • Advantageous Shopper 360, Spar Insights, DunHumby, Power BI

    • Builds a full understanding of Customers and their Shoppers and builds a Customer Business Plan Sells the Plan & Negotiates for best outcomes
