To grow and support a Massbuild roofing strategy through strategic relationships with both internal support structures and suppliers to increase market share and become a household name for roofing in Southern Africa.
Functions / Responsibilities:
Construction Account Manager Support and Development
- Provide technical and sales support to all internal customers where you identify a need or where requested to in order to achieve financial targets.
- Build & enhance professional relationships with key internal customers and all support departments within Builders.
- Ensure that you are accessible to all support departments in order for them to be able to contact you regarding needs/ difficulties/ queries. All matters should be continuously communicated and resolved as soon as required which will ensure customers are satisfied with the support and service received by Builders.
- Provide customers with the right advice and recommendations in order to supply the correct application. Engage with the relevant expert to ensure all queries and concerns are resolved timeously and to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Attend to customer complaints & concerns & ensure that appropriate, corrective action is taken. In order to learn as a team communicate problems experienced to the team with solutions thereby ensuring the team could deal with similar issues in the future.
- Ensure escalated issues are communicated to the relevant parties and followed up regularly to ensure all matters are resolved and closed according to the customer’s expectation when required or allocated by your Regional Manufacturing Manager
Drive & develop key relationships with existing and new customers resulting in new and old customer growth
- Identify, build & enhance professional relationships with key roofing customers in your region through regular visits & reviews so that you are able to understand, anticipate & meet the customer’s needs. This relationship will assist you in achieving the required financial targets.
- Ensure you plan your time accordingly to achieve regular visits and reviews resulting in existing and new customer’s being serviced as per their requirements. Key to your success and measure is the creation and opportunity of new business.
- Continuously look for new opportunities for the Manufacturing and Roofing business whilst you are in the market.

Requirements:
Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications & Experience required for this position
- Matric
- Basic MiTek Qualification
- Computer literate
- 3-5 year experience in a sales or technical roofing position of a similar nature.
- Employment experience in the roofing industry
