    Central Sales Director

    LOCATION

    • Stellenbosch, Cape Town

    At Entersekt, we continue to experience significant growth globally. Our focus is on becoming the world leader in securing digital financial transactions. Our sales teams need to be equipped and supported to drive this purpose, and we therefore need a strong sales operations team in place to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

    The ideal candidate

    We are looking for an experienced central sales director to take responsibility for increasing the productivity and effectiveness of our regional sales teams by reducing friction in the sales process.

    You will manage a team that will own the end-to-end process of tracking sales through the pipeline, proactively identify bottlenecks, and find ways to reduce them.

    Responsibilities

    • Own Entersekt sales methodologies, processes, and systems and ensure full adoption by regional sales teams
    • Run the deal desk and leads allocation to regions and territories
    • Provide pricing and commercial support to sales teams and own the global price list
    • Provide support to sales teams in responding to RFPs
    • Design/implement metrics to gauge the effectiveness of our global sales teams and use data to understand where bottlenecks occur
    • Monitor sales data and activity to ensure the pipeline is accurate and complete
    • Continuously optimize sales processes, obtain regional buy-in, and ensure they are rolled out effectively
    • Own and create annual commission plan structures/templates for the sales teams and drive their implementation with support from finance and HR
    • Report to executives on the status of the sales pipeline, status of regional targets, key client status, and sales team performance
    • Work with product and marketing to ensure sales teams have the sales collateral and other resources required to sell
    • Manage the central sales team

    Skills & Experience

    Successful candidates for this role will typically possess the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5+ years’ experience in a sales related field
    • 5+ years of managerial experience
    • Track record of successfully implementing sales methodologies, driving sales behaviour, sales processes, and data analytics
    • CRM tool experience (Salesforce preferred)
    • Experience with BI tools

    • Good communication skills and collaboration within cross-functional teams
