Financial Services client in Bryanston seeks a technically strong and driven Newly Qualified CA(SA) to fill their Finance Manager vacancy.

• This Finance Manager position is more than pure accounting and financial management, it is great opportunity for young CA(SA) candidates who are looking to get their foot into the financial services door or for those who want to broaden their experience. • The business was born out of the challenges facing the industry and the apparent difficulty in addressing them. They have identified inefficiencies in the car financing journey and blockages to a seamless customer buying experience as the opportunity to enter the market.

Within the Company’s Finance (Pty) Ltd portfolio:

•  Day to day review of Bank reconciliations and Creditors payments
•  Month-end process review function
•  Daily system to GL review function
•  Reporting (Board/Exco)
•  All tax functions (VAT and Income tax)
•  Running the external audit
•  Adhoc tasks relating to Finance
•  Assisting with UAT Within the FinCo portfolio (Vehicle asset finance general ledger)
•  Entire month-end close process for Vehicle asset finance general ledger
•  Reporting (Board/Financial Committee/Exco)
•  Assisting Operations with Financial Acumen
•  Problem solving and planning for future development to make processes and loan management system more efficient
•  Assisting with UAT for roll out of new developments
•  Running any external audit/internal audit requirements from Standard Bank

 Adhoc tasks/queries from

• General Finance tasks
•  Assist CFO with business cases for new projects
•  Assist CFO with design of solutions to make processes more efficient and problem solving  Assist CFO with pricing model for vehicle asset finance portfolio
•  Newly Qualified CA(SA)
•  Vehicle Finance experience will be advantageous
•  Must be a self-starter and energetic
