Job description

• Conduct modelling and analysis to support the organisation’s medium-to long-term investment and trading strategies
• Provide medium- and long-term energy planning capability
• Perform operational, economic and financial analysis
• Conduct research on energy planning methods, develop new techniques and adapt appropriate methods and techniques
• Maintain existing and new models based on specific model requirements and changed assumptions
• Assess developments in the energy sector
• Synthesize analysis findings and implications for the organisation to develop
• valuable insights and strategic recommendations to support the function

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s): 

• B Degree/B Tech in Business Management/ Commerce/Engineering/Sciences at NQF7 with 360 credits

Related Minimum Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years in Industry related experience in energy related
• analytics with a successful track record of business
• intelligence, tools and analysis in the energy industry
