Job Purpose:

• Co-ordinates and controls ke technical structural engineering design procedures and applications associated with the provision of support, advice and guidance, formulation and development and or draughting of plans, proposals and designs for complex forms of complete structures.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Supports, and provides technical advice/information on principles and applications associated with design, draughting and contract management of complex structural engineering requirements.
• Applies principles and techniques associated with the development of complex technical designs.
• Disseminates information on technical aspects and provides report detailing interventions and outcomes.
• Coordinates sequences associated with the preparation collation of contract documentation and/or evaluating tender applications.
• Coordinates and controls the implementation/ outcomes of complex structural engineering contracts.

Essential Requirements:

• Registration as a Professional Technician (Pr. Techni.) with Engineering Council of South Africa.
• Plus Internal Assessment.
• Valid motor vehicle drivers licence (Code B or EB).
• 5 Years relevant post qualification experience.

Work sample and/or psychometric tests may be undertaken as part of the selection process.

Benefits included in the Total Value of Remuneration Package Range (Pension, 13th Cheque, Medical Aid,  Housing Subsidy allowance and Car Allowance) are payable in accordance with the rules/requirements of the  respective benefit schemes and any revisions that may occur from time to time which may alter the Total Value of Remuneration Package.  In addition other allowance may be payable (where applicable).
