    Chief Marketing Officer / Marketing Director - JHB

    The Position:

    • To lead the Eduvos Marketing function by generating demand that drives student numbers and grow the Eduvos brand. Creating, communicating and delivering offerings that increase value for customers, clients and business partners. This position will form part of the Eduvos Senior Leadership Team.

    Special working conditions:

    • Hybrid working arrangement
    • Will be required to travel to national campuses occasionally

    Minimum Requirements    
    Minimum qualification:

    • A graduate marketing qualification plus relevant post graduate qualification, preferably a master’s degree (or above) in Marketing or an MBA

    Experience:

    • At least 10 years marketing management experience
    • At least five years’ experience within the Professional Services, Services or Higher Education industry
    • Know-how and proven experience in running a full-scale in-house marketing service that is fully integrated with the Sales and Product Development functions

    Duties and Responsibilities    
    Responsibilities:

    • Marketing functional workflow, alignment and communication
    • Marketing function escalations, decisions and problem solving
    • Vendor selection and landscape
    • Drive marketing innovation to lead or respond to market disruption

    Lead the development of a marketing tech roadmap and capabilities

    • Operational best practices
    • Marketing function operational efficiency and innovation
    • Marketing organisational structure and effectiveness
    • Lead a high performing marketing function:
    • Create a marketing strategy to support business growth and sustainability
    • Brand strategy, values and positioning
    • Connect brand health to experience and business outcomes

    • Extensive knowledge of the higher education market will be advantageous
