Civil Engineering Designer (Open Roads) at AECOM

Job Summary

• You will be working on geometric designs of roads / highways internationally as well as across the Africa region, giving you access to a variety of projects, including major projects

Duties and Responsibilities

• Proficient in the use of Bentley Open Roads design software package
• Ability to do concept and detail design for multi-disciplinary geometric design projects specifically road geometric design in Bentley Open Roads, including 3D modelling;
• Calculate - and compile schedule of quantities;
• Assist with standard setting and be responsible for quality assurance of products i.e. drawings and reports;
• Compliance with ISO standards of the company

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 4 years relevant experience in geometric design of roads;
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Open Roads;
• Proficient in the use of Bentley Open Roads

Preferred Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification B.Tech / B.Eng
• Professional registration advantageous but not essential
