Civil Engineering Technician (Production Level): Sustainable Resource Use and Management (Clanwilliam), Ref No. AGR 11/2025 at Western Cape Government

Job Purpose    

• The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a qualified individual to render technical services and support in sustainable resource use and management, operations and maintenance.

Minimum Requirements    

• An appropriate 3-year National Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification; Compulsory registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as an Engineering Technician; A minimum of 3 years relevant post qualification technical (engineering) experience. 

Recommendation    

• A valid driving license (Code B or higher) .

Key Performance Areas    

• Render technical services: Assist engineers, technologists and associates in field, workshop and technical office activities; Perform administrative and related functions; Compile and submit reports as required; Research and development.
