• Hello… an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our Insure, Personal Lines Operations area.  We are looking to recruit a Claims Consultant (6 months fixed term contract)

Role Objectives:

• The Claims Consultant role will be to assist clients with their claims, handle claims administration functions and ensuring client expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inbound and Outbound Call centre
• Assisting with claims administration functions, i.e. from registration to finalization.
• Managing client expectations and obtaining information
• Ensuring clear instructions are issued to all stakeholders
• Delivering a seamless service to clients
• Target driven and ability to work within a team
• Resolving complaints within prescribed time 2 hours
• Focus on first call resolution as far as possible.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.
• Handling claims within the claim’s framework
• Attending and settling claims within mandate

Required Knowledge and Experience    

• Good communication skills
• Minimuim 2 years claim experience in short term insurance
• Understanding of the Premier Product
• Computer skills
• Product knowledge on personal lines insurance advantageous

Educational Requirements    

• Matric
• Qualification Short Term Insurance (150 credits)
