Classroom Assistant at ADvTECH

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with lesson planning and preparation
• Provide one-on-one support to students who require extra help
• Supervise students during classroom activities and outings
• Manage classroom materials, including organizing supplies and setting up equipment
• Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as grading assignments or maintaining attendance records
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Patience and compassion when working with students
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
