About the job
Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and cultivate relationships with new and existing clients.
2. Service allocated clients by being organized and efficient to ensure that all value for client is reclaimed and all documents are received timeously from clients and custodian banks.
3. Obtain all documentation required from clients and other parties timeously to ensure complete and accurate reclaims and avoid rejections/resubmission of claims.
4. Work closely with the Head of Client Service to develop and accomplish goals and strategic plans set out for clients.
5. Manage and consolidate tax office queries.
6. Support in client, custodian bank and tax office requests.
7. Research existing customers, gaining a clear understanding of the customers’ business and requirements in order to identify further withholding tax needs.
8. Have a strong knowledge of the recovery service in order to service clients successfully and answer technical client queries.
9. Keep abreast of new products and legislation changes to optimise client submissions.
10. Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and all aspects of the market.
11. Identify decision makers and additional contacts in order to apply additional products and increase the customer’s submissions.
12. Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries in a timeously and
professional manner.
13. Meet or exceed submission targets as set out by company management.
14. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management and following up with customers and internal stakeholders.
15. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
