Client Technical Architect at Altron Bytes Systems Integration

Purpose of the Job:

The Client Technical Architect is a consultative technology and solution focused specialist who provides pre-sales technical support and expertise in identifying and analyzing client requirements, ensuring technical solutions will accomplish the client's objectives, resulting in the CTA being viewed as a trusted technical advisor to the client.

Main Accountabilities:

• Support account managers in client engagements, identifying new opportunities, analyzing technical and business requirements, assisting in cross selling
• Assessment of new and evolving technology offerings leading to sales opportunities and other revenue streams
• Develop re-usable assets (such as assessment frameworks, knowledge bases and reference architectures) for guiding client engagements
• Contribute to the internal and external community via thought leadership workshops, events and publications
• Take part in and contribute to bid/tender processes
• Contribute to the development of technical design documents to match the solution design specifications
• Acquire certifications in relevant areas or any other educational initiatives

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ technical experience in an ICT or Systems Integration (preferable) company
• Strong technical IT background
• Solution design and architecture
• Thorough understanding of vendors solutions and technologies
• Implementation of short and long-term strategic plans
• Product/Program/Project Management experience
• In-depth understanding of cost/ROI or ROCE

Required Qualifications:

• Matric / Grade12
• 3-year degree in related discipline or equivalent, Master’s degree an advantage
• Relevant industry certifications
• ITIL
• TOGAF
• COBIT advantageous
