Description

• Work in tandem with Business Transformation and Digital Transformation team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company
• Define and document the best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design
• Manage cloud environments in accordance with client’s security guidelines
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks 
• Solving technical issues over the phone or in person 
• Documenting technical issues and solutions
• Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime
• Understanding in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analytics
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts

Requirements

• A tertiary qualification in computing or a related field, or an associate's qualification with more years of experience 
• Relevant certifications, such as, IT Infrastructure related (AWS or MS Azure or Google Cloud or Huawei Cloud) 
• Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC 
• Understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, the OSI model, subnetting, routing, switching, and VLANs 
• Experience with network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, and network operating systems 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
