    Commercial Manager

    Purpose of the Position

    • To build and maximize the equity of the SuperSport Schools brand
    • To define the overarching commercials strategy and guide the implementation thereof
    • Develop and manage all aspects of the commercials function, providing guidance for all expansion partnerships to stakeholders
    • To manage and oversee content negotiations and acquisitions across all sporting content for SuperSport Schools

    Key Performance Objectives

    Tasks

    Develop and Implement Sales Strategy

    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and sales opportunities
    • Develop sales pitches and presentations that effectively communicate SuperSport Schools' value proposition
    • Track sales metrics and analyses sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement

    Increase Revenue Streams

    • Conduct market research to identify new revenue streams and product offerings
    • Develop pricing strategies that optimize profitability without sacrificing customer satisfaction
    • Monitor sales metrics and adjust sales and marketing strategies as needed to achieve revenue targets

    Develop and Manage Partnerships

    • Identify potential partners and evaluate the benefits and risks of partnerships
    • Negotiate partnership agreements and develop plans to achieve partnership objectives
    • Work with partners to develop joint marketing campaigns and promotions

    Manage Financial Performance

    • Develop and manage budgets, including revenue and expense forecasts
    • Analyze financial data and identify areas for cost-saving measures
    • Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability

    Provide Leadership and Support to Sales Team

    • Set sales targets and performance metrics for the sales team
    • Provide ongoing training and coaching to improve sales skills and knowledge
    • Work with other departments to ensure that the sales team has the resources and support they need to succeed

    Qualifications

    • Relevant Business Post Graduate Qualification

    Experience

    • A minimum of 5-8 years of commercials and acquisition experience
    • Experience in African country markets; comfortable managing direct lines remotely (advantageous)
    • Detailed commercial and financial acumen balanced with creative flair
