Drive and support the Country Managers with the implementation of the Yara Business Unit Africa commercial strategy, which is primarily based on a Premium Product approach.
Together with the Country Managers analyze market segments to identify potential opportunities for the successful positioning of Yara Premium Products, which drive differentiation and profitability.
Monitor and manage the Yara pricing strategies across all market segments on a monthly basis.
Share the accountability of achieving sales and profitability targets with the Country Managers, in line with the defined Business Plan.
Be a key stakeholder on specific commercial projects/initiatives together with BU Marketing and the local sales teams.
Facilitate the training and development of the local commercial teams and co-own the succession planning in the units.
Liaise with relevant internal departments across Yara globally, to secure alignment and that BU Africa’s strategy and commercial initiatives are properly understood and supported.
Drive a Key Account Management implementation with Food Value Chain partners headquartered in South Africa.
Lead by example and comply with the Yara Code of Conduct and HESQ policies.
