Commercial UAV Solutions Engineer - Midrand at Rectron South Africa

Primary Objectives:

• Responsible for providing training for sub-dealers to make sure they understand the key features/advantages of latest DJI Enterprise products and the major use cases of drones in different vertical applications.
• Responsible for assisting with the pre-sales communication with key customers and partners, including presenting the drone use cases/solutions and identifying specific customer needs, supporting with the issues customers have.
• Collect the key feature requests from major customers, and the technical/commercial information of competitors, and share insights with DJI team.
• Identify new use cases/potential needs in the local market, and work with DJI solution engineer to summarize the key points and build up case studies. Identify solution partners in the local market to work with.

Job Requirements

• Matric
• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in electrical, automation, mechanical, electronic, communication, computer and other science and technology directions.
• 3 - 5 years' technical solutions or gap analysis experience
• Strong sense of cooperation and self-driven ability.
• Excellent documentation skills, communication skills and technical understanding, able to compose and present in-depth solution slides.
