Community Development Worker Supervisor: CDW Management: Region B (2 Posts In West Coast), Ref No. LG 03/2026 at Western Cape Local Government

Minimum Requirements    

• An appropriate 3 year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 3 years experience as a community development worker; A valid code B (or higher) driving licence. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

Key Performance Areas    

• Develop the local work programme taking into account the National, Provincial and Municipal Programmes Competency; Liaise between Regional Manager, Municipalities as well as Government Departments (Provincial and National); Reporting and information management; Stay abreast on all services rendered by government and the processes and mechanisms to access the services; Supervise community development worker teams.
