Role Overview:

• We are looking for a Conceptual Copywriter with a digital-first mindset and a passion for storytelling. This role requires someone who can ideate and craft compelling narratives that resonate across social platforms, influencer campaigns, and digital activations—while leveraging strong local insights to ensure cultural relevance.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual ideas and engaging copy for social media, influencer campaigns, and digital activations.
• Translate strategic briefs into creative concepts that align with brand tone and identity.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and Art Director to ensure cohesive visual and verbal storytelling.
• Stay ahead of digital trends and apply innovative thinking to content creation.
• Ensure all copy is optimized for platform-specific formats and audience behaviors.
• Apply deep understanding of local culture, trends, and consumer insights to create authentic and relatable content.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual and digital-first copywriting work.
• Proven experience in social content creation, storytelling, and campaign development.
• Excellent understanding of digital platforms, formats, and audience engagement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong knowledge of local insights and cultural nuances.
• Must be based in Durban.
